What caused it to burst into flames then?

Apparently it was an oil leaked from the turbo over exhaust or headers. Will know for sure when its been properly looked at.

It only flamed like in that pic for a couple of seconds then it died down. might upload a vid of it shortly, caught it on my dash cam but it cut off when I turned the ignition off

Spotted an NI reg Cayman GT4 in Belfast yesterday. Have since found out it's the first one delivered in the whole of Ireland. Was like a kid at Christmas...

Blame the GF... I was driving and she wasn't too arsed when I got excited and asked her to start taking photos of a car. These really are the best of a bad lot.

From my experience, strictly speaking it's illegal but the old bill seem to not care, mine has been spaced out of whack for ages, as long as the ANPR machines can read them I don't think they care. Silly fonts, nuts and bolts to make different letters etc.. then they care

^ Probably. Nothing will be done about it though, so many cars out there either without numberplates, horrible font, spacing, size and placing.

Illegal spacing, perhaps but the police rarely have time or bother to care so much about that. Spirited driving, well only you can be the judge of that.

One thing is for certain, taking photos on your phone whilst driving will raise the coppers attention

Since you asked nicely, I don't tend to post many of my encounters. Have another of the beauty.

But it's not all fun and games at the car park, sometimes you have to park in the hedge. NB. he didn't have to.

Sometimes you have to park in a Porsche.

But then normal service is resumed.

And sometimes you find something in a field.

Or two.
