I know I'm the idiot that bought a Nano...

There is a few on this forum I would like to hug and squeeze till they don't move no more :D

:)

If my driver problems with my 390x aren't solved by the time I return from Sweden in early Novemeber (leaving next week), I'm selling it and purchasing a 980ti, then we can be BFF's! :D

After the stunt you pulled, I don't think so :p

I was being sarcastic.... Thought it went without saying after the stunt you pulled, all I did was bring the issue to light.

Oh yea, in other news, checkout this website http://keepvid.com/ - it lets you download youtube videos in the maximum quality they were uploaded in. Quite handy if you believe a video might not be available in the future, or if you want to use a video clip for another interesting purpose.

I recently used it to back up an interesting lion documentary from youtube, glad I did so as the uploader removed the video later due to copyright issues, quite a handy feature :)

What you spend money on is completely up to you obviously but I'm gonna ask the question that everyone else wants too.

Why would you buy a Nano instead of spending the same money on the faster Fury X when you intend to use it in a waterloop build? It seems crazy.
Indeed, with all the open mindedness I can muster, I still don't understand :p

Up the power budget in CCC to 50% and watch that nano fly.. should be able to maintain almost a 1000mhz core clock in 99% of games. The card will do the rest.

Lol issue to light. Life skills...get some. I've got a great app for saving stuff as well, it's called cognitive memory and it helps me remember people.

Because I can is the answer to that;) Also I want the smallest GPU possible so I can fit the res in a vertical position. Plus it's better for cooling. I know it's only a tad smaller than the FuryX, but it's still smaller:) And if I'm correct it has less power consumption than the Fury which goes well with my 500W SFX PSU...

But really it's because I can and I wanted the Nano;) Also if the FuryX was actually available anywhere it could have been a contender, but it isn't available and thus not a contender!

I'm glad you're able to remember people, though as this skill is common amongst mankind, I don't understand why you believe it's worth mentioning.

Nice one Spike and buying hardware with your own money never makes you an idiot. It would be good to get some feedback on it and your thoughts on quietness and performance overall in particular.

I will do mate! I posted a build in the watercooling section before should I do the same for this build or is there a specific section I should be using:)

That is likely because you are as blind to what I am saying now as you were to why what you did requires substantial lack of etiquette. Not to mention a blatant lack of social skills or regard for what others may think of you for being so eager to show people your poignant detective work. If you're still lost, I'm saying you won't get far in life by being a busy body.

I think as you are rather unique, it wouldn't hurt to post here and I look forward to seeing it. Maybe do a mini review with pics and your thoughts :)

@ Dave2150 - I sent you a trust message.

Hmmm Lemon Drizzle cake......We should talk more about cake in these forums as this makes the day a lot brighter and the forums so much sweeter.

As for the OP, no dude you bought what you wanted with your own money for your own reasons. Nothing wrong with that. Would be good to hear of your experiences and photos etc...It all adds to the information banks...and we need more information to base judgments on where we spends the big dollars.
:)
