As title suggests, new headphones for £50-100? Prefer to keep it closer to £50 mark but happy to pay a bit more if it is "really" worth it.

- Usage will be mostly gaming, largely MP FPS i.e. BF 4

- I have an asus essence STX II sound card

- Must be very comfy and I would prefer it if they didn't completely block out all back ground noise

- Don't need a mic.

£50 the kingston hyper X clouds

£100 mark the K612 modmic bundle for £115 is probably the best vfm.

K612.

Or find a K702 for a smidgen over £100 (arguably one of the best gaming headphones out there).

TwsT, do you still have that 'secret' offer on them?

checks stock :D

can unofficially do £84.99

Although I can do the K701 for 99.99 :O

Thanks for the recommendations :)

Looks like it will be the K612. Cheapest I can find is £85.99 (with free delivery) elsewhere.

Are you going to do those deals for tomorrow's new weekly deals twist?

Look into the Audio Technica AD700. Great for gaming, amazing sound stage and one of the most comfortable headphone I've ever tried, which comes handy in long gaming sessions. A tad light on bass, but overall the signature is very pleasant.

Considered as one of the best gaming headphones by many. Oh, low impedance too, so they'll perform well on most audio devices, including onboard sound cards, consoles and mp3 players and mobile phones, unlike some other high impedance headphones that will need a headphone amp to drive them. I use my AD700 with PS4 and TV use, where they perform much better than my other headphones.

not really between £50 and £100 though are they

Hmmm, you're right, I can't see them for less than £150 atm. I only paid £99 for my pair of AD700, on sale. Other than that, I'd look into the AD700x http://www.eglobalcentral.co.uk/aud...1C66XcageCs12jQq2BPEzPDUjpphbY5F0MaAmct8P8HAQ worth considering.

Other option is to keep an eye on Head-Fi forum for mint conditioned bargains.

If waiting for a sale or buying off Head-Fi is a no go, I can definitely recommend CALs http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-51EF0060AA001-Aurvana-Live-Headphones/dp/B000W6Y0JY which is basically a rebranded Denon AH-D1001

I consider CALs the best £50 headphone, rating it above most £100 headphones.
