I basically want to bleed my loop so I can change the colour, when I bought the cooling I wanted mint green dye, ended up with emerald green. then I put some UV green in with that, now it kinda looks mint green but I want to make it full UV.

how do I bleed the loop?

I have the coolant , need some dye but not going to buy that until I know what I need to do.

If you mean drain and refill then disconnect power, cover any areas that liquid will damage such as motherboard and remove lowest fitting in loop and prepare for some spillage. Before refilling fit a bleed tap so next time it will be a lot easier as you can attach a piece of tube and open the tap.
If you mean bleed out the air then that is a different thing.

yea I want to drain it so I could make it full UV , thanks.

edit : just had a genius idea to watch a youtube vid on "how to" do it.

depends on what you have. Either connect tube to the top of the res and turn the whole thing upside down or as post above take the lowest fitting off. Clamp the pipe or something so when you take it off it doesnt spill right away.

I just take pipe off my res and blow it all through and out of the second outlet on the pump. Have drain on res but fitting one in the bottom is a pain.

You may want to flush the loop with some DI while your at it or your UV coolant may lose some of its effect due to residue of the previous dye mixing with it.

Do you have any sort of drainage tap already installed?

what is DI ?

no I don't have a drainage tap but I just had a look on ebay after some searches on youtube and I found a cheap cooling pump I can use to drain it. all I need now is a 3-pin wall power source to plug it into (and tubing too).

Distilled water to flush your loop or if you want to go full on get a Blitz kit from Mayhems and flush with that.

Without a drain tap you need to unplug a tube at the lowest point of your loop.
