Is there a new way to cross the ball? All my crosses were going near post right into the hands of the keeper

Same as before B+B+B for low, smashed ball in, B+B for near post cross, B for generic cross into box.
Do the skill challenges and they tend to go through every possible thing you can do.

I'm doing a BPL side and currently have diego costa and Martial upfront but when i make subs late on i have Morata (juventus) to bring on, my goodness i have finally found a player who finishes. I struggle to score but this lad has been finishing everything in the box , real poacher ! Worth a shot lads if you can fit him in.
I'm not the possession type tbh, basically get the ball forward asap. I start losing the will to live when I play oppositions who play the possession game
Same, so boring.
Still in EA's hour n half waiting line.... more chance of getting through to the queen than these *****.

That pass with purpose is trash because first touch is trash lol. It just pings off players. What's annoying me is my players getting swarmed immediately, dribbling feels awful with zero time... but then anyone against me has all the room in the world! gah i dunno i must be awful!
The whole feel is different. In 15 I mainly played the counter attacking role with some pace players but that's a none starter now as its harder to get away from people.
Also tackling has gone down hill, seems the best way now is to just pressure and contain and wait for the misplaced pass. also because its more of a possession game my players fitness is taking a hammering due to chasing the ball to get it back

Agreed, i struggle to defend yet the AI make Messi look like a L1 player.
yea the passing is ridiculously frustrating. Open man wide open and it goes no where near!

I've found a lot of success with 4-3-3 with a holding mid and 3 strikers instead of a striker and two wingers. It means things can get narrow at times but it does compensate for the slowness of this years version and you usually end up 2 or 3 v 2 when you attack
The passing is so frustrating, there seems to be so little control in terms of pace, direction, first touch passes go all over the place! Pretty much the only time I have looked like conceding is when my CBs decide to pass it to my CB...
The passing is rather terrible. Like you said, you have little control over where it goes and at what power. I don't mind fifa being a passing game but how am I supposed to do that when the passing is so damn random!
