The time to grow up has finally arrived

Welcome to the lack of sleep zone. I bet you can't wait for when it picks up its first bout of being sick out of both ends. Had that earlier this week. Best start to the day cleaning up toddler chunder and mummy chunder (preggers with the second).

I love mine to bits and wouldn't change anything. But I'm so glad I've got over the baby/toddler era in my life and won't be having any more :D

My little lad slept through from 3 weeks. Sadly at 8 his aspergers means he is awake at 5am most mornings.

I am not a morning person.

Good luck OP. Enjoy every second, as the old adage goes "they grow up so fast".

Congrats.

What's wrong with calling it 'it'? We call our unborn baby 'it' because we don't know the sex.

I called both of mine Bumphrey :p

Now isn't the time to grow up, it is the time to be less selfish.

I spent my childhood years from 9 onwards being the man of the house, looking after my younger brothers, mowing lawns, collecting fire wood, lighting the fire and general bits and bobs. It made me very selfish with my time, I love spending time by myself doing my own things, gaming etc.

That has to change when kids come along, the gaming has to stop and all your time is dedicated the children. You have to take it in turns to have "you" time.

You don't grow up though, having kids is a great excuse to act like a child yourself. Me and my daughter spin around in supermarkets, play with all the toys in toy shops, do random monster impressions etc. :D

Congratulations.

All unborns are called "He". No, I have no idea why ?

You're about to realise how precious life is and how fragile it can seem !

Your newborn will be like a Fresh build Pc. All that works is the BIOS
It's up to you to install the correct operating procedures !!
