You're right, although as you say it was a derivative, the name of which I can't quite remember however I do remember it has a 1.6 MR2 engine in at the moment. The back end has been re-worked by the owner in that he has taken the back seats out and installed a firewall of sorts and all the necessary bracketry to install a rear mounted engine.

Quite impressive - the Imp was rear engined, but he's got that ridiculously far forward. Does he race it or is it a track day tool? Be very quick and fun either way I bet.

I'm not sure what he does with it to be honest, I agree though it would be a fun car to go round the track in

Will post more tomorrow, but GF planned a surprise trip to the "Bond in Motion" exhibition in London where they have a large selection of the Bond cars used over the years, along with some props and a bit of behind the scenes info. Excuse the potato pictures, low lighting + phone = not good.

Not sure why the plate was different on the DB5, it should be BMT 216A...

And the lovely Z8.

Well worth a trip for anyone local who fancies a bit of nostalgia, it's not a huge exhibit but spend a good 2 hours in there.
