Getting used to it now, especially sitting over the rear wheels and parking. So used to sitting almost on the bonnet of the Civic 1.6D and having reversing camera's that I look like a girl parking

Going to hold off on the ECU harness until the spring. No point having 100 BHP extra with winter coming and not even sure if the chassis could take it compared to the coup 335i I did it to. Lots more research before I consider it.

Very nice. I want one still but it doesn't have the same drive experience as an S2000.

You will be able to fix up them exhaust tips no problem with some Autosol metal polish and some fine wire wool.

Mine was in a right state when i brought my Z4, 30 mins hard graft with the above and they came up as new. (Remember to seal with FK1000 sealant or gtechniq G5 so they dont crud up again as easy)

Yup done this weekend, a quick rub down and autosol and they look like new

On a plus note, just officially handed back the Honda loaner back to the dealer. Found out from a very unhappy dealer that it is just not the Civic Type R's that are being delayed with no explanations. All Civics are being held back indefinitely at the moment with no explanations from Honda. Petrol and Diesel ones including the Type R.

Many angry and frustrated dealers / customers.

Glad I am out of it.

Plenty of people reporting getting their type R's every day - and not only those who ordered at the earliest opportunity

mmm, not from what I have heard or seen over the last 2 - 3 months of dealing with it daily. The initial batch of Type R's came out on 28th July (including my non GT version) and since then there has been tiddly squat. Latest news is 19th October unconfirmed, but my dealer told me this wasn't going to happen either.

Check the facebook page for Honda_UK. Many angry customers and Honda just silent about it.
