Who makes the best Pizza?

That looks beautiful. Cheese has got that slight crisp golden brown. Perfect.

they are very consistant as well, unlike Domino's and PJ's from my experience
also their garlic & herb dip is very much like Domino's, and they give you 2 when ordering large/xl pizza's

EDIT: damn this thread, now i wanna order Herbies pizza :(

Of the three in the op, pizza Hut. We prefer the local place though. I just wish the local place did the hot cookie dough.

People say the fast food business is saturated, but I still think there is a gap in the market for really good quality, good value delivered pizzas.

A 10 slice pizza should not be more than £10 imo. Most places currently charge around £15.

For anything really. Pretty much all delivery takeaways around here are poor.
Always thought a pasta/ normal food would do realy well as well.

The headline price is £15/16 for a big pizza, but you can almost always get 50% off/BOGOF/etc, which gets them down to (or below) the price point you're saying they should have.

my local PJ's has been doing any large pizza £7.99 for years which makes it not too much of a **** take, its a collection only offer though

£1 Dominoes lunch pizza ;) Albeit smallest size possible and no toppings, and doesn't taste that good...

Local for a proper takeaway, better taste and value. Chain pizza places only seem to be good when buying as a large group (e.g. 3 large pizzas (which can easily feed more than 3!) for £15)

Well if you're posting pix of the pizzas then here's a pee take I took and sent to a work colleague.

He was on yard duty that night and it was peeing with rain !!

Oh Pizza is Papa Luigi No1:

reheated pizza taste crap, best just to leave it in the box and have it cold

If you microwave or oven it yet, but not if you do it my way.

Take a large enough saute pan to take the pizza and grease the bottom with oil. Preheat a few mins, then place the pizza in, cover it with a tight fitting lid and reheat it slowly.

The oil freshens up the base and the lid makes the hot air revolve around the toppings, heating them up and melting the cheese nicely.

An even better way is to give it a quick blast on a barbecue if you have one. Put it on the warming tray, and put the lid down. Whenever I've done this, it's tasted the same as it did when fresh.
