I want the fingerprint scanner for convenience all the time, not just when I'm picking it up. I have my phone on my desk at work and usually just browse with it flat to the desk. To have to type in a PIN or pick it up seems pointless.
That and no wireless charging means this phone is a bit of a let down for me
Better camera? Don't think it is. The moto camera is average.
And you get a bit more with the Nexus. Fast updates, fingerprint sensor. The display will also blow away an LCD panel.
And fingerprint on the back is much better than on the front imo.

My Chromecast order just sat there, I refreshed, reordered and it went straight in.
Im tempted to force myself to use my work phone more this week (a Nexus 6) to get used to its size day to day, and then cancel my 5X order.
Google gave people access to this Google drive which has photos exclusively taken with the 6P on it.

They aren't full resolution though, hard to really get an idea. Won't really get an idea until we start to see comparisons.

It probably won't be too long before somone on XDA finds a way to fit one. The fingerprint one desk idea sounds great, but remember phones don't weigh that much. You start swiping at the sensor and screen and it'll just slide around and you'll just pick it up anyway.
I'm tempted by it - my only gripe is that the back and menu buttons are backwards to me ha. I'm used to Samsung layout
Nexus phones are getting pricey though...Mother of gawd, that hing looks massive!!
Lol. Like a few mm would have made a difference. It's a big phone, just accept it people.
I bet the bloke holding it has small hands. If you're worried about size go to a phone store and hold a large one.

Strange, some photos it looks fine in, others it looks huge.
Wide angle lenses have that effect.

DXO Mark say they already had the phone prior to today and have run tests on it. They have the 6P ranked as the second best camera behind the S6 Edge and ahead of the G4.
