Grew up (and the family home is only couple of miles away) near there, nice place, but I think a london hipster or yuppy looking for a night life will hate it. Would love to move back to the area if it wasn't for the lack of any good jobs (but you could say that about the north in general.
Still 5 miles down the road in stark contrast in Keighley scum town of the north, the difference is quite funny. A slough and Windsor of the north.
yer its dull but i rather live there than some of the **** holes stab fests I've had to live in over the years, Stoke on Trent, Bolton, Dundee (to a point), Slough.but skiptons a ****hole?

God, don't even get my started on Keighley. It's awful!! (For Awful read "Probably the worst place to live in the known universe".)
I know what you mean in terms of jobs, although there are good jobs in Leeds, and it's not too bad of a commute. I used to work in Leeds until I got a job in Ripon.
Blanketly London (670 sqm) to you is a dump full stop. Yet you live in the nicest place in the world and 5 miles away is the "Probably the worst place to live in the known universe". Great argument.
I would like to move Cornwall eventually. Just wonder what kind of work is available there, not looked in to it yet.
Don't jump and blame the landlord... I'm guessing that this is a sub-let - and a very very cheeky one at that. Perhaps the existing tenants want some extra cash and were chancing their luck that someone would pay this?
It raises a valid point that the housing market in London is such a complete wild west free for all run by bottom-feeding hobbyist landlords that most people believe it.And the story turns out to be almost certainly fake.

So is the ad real? The answer is I don’t know. Alex didn’t answer when I asked questions about it. I tried to call the advertiser, but they weren’t accepting calls. Some possibilities are:
•Maybe they’re a hoax advertiser.
•Maybe Alex is doing PR work on behalf of a company
•Maybe she’s helping out a friend with a bit of work to help boost their lettings site.
•Or quite possibly it is real, and I am overly cynical.
