UFC 192 this weekend. Pretty good looking card.

A lot of hype over Sage Northcutt so should be interesting to see what he's all about (if they show it). Bit of a stretch but I hope Woodley smashes Hendricks, he's done nothing but whinge ever since the GSP fight, and it's getting boring.

Daniel Cormier (c) vs. Alexander Gustafsson
Johny Hendricks vs. Tyron Woodley
Ryan Bader vs. Rashad Evans
Shawn Jordan vs. Ruslan Magomedov
Jessica Eye vs. Julianna Peña

Preliminary Card
Joseph Benavidez vs. Ali Bagautinov
Yair Rodríguez vs. Dan Hooker
Alan Jouban vs. Albert Tumenov
Rose Namajunas vs. Angela Hill
Adriano Martins vs. Islam Makhachev
Francisco Trevino vs. Sage Northcutt
Chris Cariaso vs. Sergio Pettis
Derrick Lewis vs. Viktor Pešta

Woodley vs Hendricks scrapped from the card :/

Rumour is Hendricks wasn't going to make the weight.

According to Hendricks' manager Ted Ehrhardt, Hendricks suffered a blockage in his intestine last night while cutting weight, as well as a kidney stone. He was rushed to the emergency room and had to be given an IV. UFC president Dana White announced via Twitter Friday morning that Hendricks-Woodley was off due to "Hendricks weight cut issues."

Some talk of Sage Northcutt V Connor Megregor

Future thoughts? Although everyone assumes Sage will settle at 185

I haven't seen Northcutt yet other than highlight videos, but he has some crazy crisp, accurate and unorthodox striking. Obviously they're not in the same weight class, but I think Conor will be moving up eventually if he beats Aldo. It could potentially happen but it's a long way off, feels like a lot needs to happen for it to ever come to fruition though.

Got to love Woodley weighing in anyway :p

Cant help but feel disappointed in yesterday's event minus the main fight which was pretty entertaining and could have gone either way though due to the last round I edged it for Cormier.

Love to know why Gustafsson decided to stare at Cormier for a solid 10 seconds at the end of the 3rd after he hurt him with the knee. Damn that was annoying.

Main event was a lot closer than I figured, did not expect Alex to be able to hang in there with Cormier, let alone give him the fight of his life.

Have to agree the rest of the event wasn't all that great however.

Fantastic main event that, I had it 49-46 to DC, at a push 48-47 but I felt he clearly won the fight.

Can only assume Doug Crosby was in the house to score a 48-47 for Gus.

How can you not like this Sage Northcutt guy? His attitude and demeanour is super happy, he demolished his opponent as well, devastating. 19 years old, ripped like an Abercrombie model and fighting in the UFC. Yeah, i'm not remotely jealous :p

Agreed about Sage, Brilliant and refreshing to see someone happy.

I don't get these new kids. "Visualizing the UFC at age 9" Said Sage!!!

When I was 9 I was pushing toy cars around in a sandpit

Helps that Gus is so tall and top heavy.

Them clinch upper cuts were amazing! I bet all the guys will be talking about that tonight at training.

I just love Gus i mean how polite and congratulating was he at the end.

You would be surprised how many K1 fights i have watched with kids fully padded up. I was the same with cars but my parents didnt train. I guess it would be totally different if they fought.

Gus has given JBJ and Cormier the fight of their lives, its very surprising that Rumble was able to take him out.

Surely a rematch with Rumble has to be on the cards at this point - I can't think of another fight out there for him?

DC vs Gus was awesome, DC slamming Gus like he did to Hendo was incredible. The rest of the card was pretty boring but it was worth watching just for the main event :)
