Nexus 5 2015 refresh

Well I've ordered from CPW.

N4 has served me well and if I can get 3 years out of the N5X then I'll be happy too

How big of an upgrade is this over the Nexus 5? Despite its few flaws, I love that phone and it has served me well most of the time. Just not sure whether to throw 300 big ones on the 5X if the 5 could probably last me another year.

I don't care about the cameras.

better camera
better speaker
better and slightly bigger screen
fingerprint unlocker
slightly better GPU/CPU although not that you will notice much, if any speed improvement given the n5 performs very well already
slightly better battery life

Worthy enough upgrade from the n5 imo, but could do with being £30-50 cheaper imo.

What are the flaws? I don't really see any, apart from maybe being a tad over priced compared to the competition and the 6P

Only the battery life and better screen jump out at me there. I'm not too into pointless add ons like the fingerprint unlocker, etc. Plus I'd play my music through bluetooth speakers.

Thanks.

I was referring to the current Nexus 5. Mostly due to it being cheaply made with one of the worst power buttons I've ever had on a phone.

Hmm, that does sound good actually. Just like you say though, it's pretty big. :p

Will have to have a think, thanks. :)

Ah sorry, reading your post again its very clear you were referring to the Nexus 5. :o

I guess potential build quality issues is one reason to wait until the new model is released before jumping in.

I can't believe for the price that they are asking for the phone, they couldn't chuck a measly USB cable in. I'd understand if it were micro, as we have loads of those. But a new standard in cable?
