Hello all my name is Kyle or People in the Gaming world cool me RaidenWolf or just Raiden for short.

I have had a YouTube channel called TheRaidenWolf for over a year now which focuses on PC tech and gaming and the odd vlog about any subject and when I first started I will say it was bloody awful poor mic and picture quality.

But over the last three months I have started to step my game up and bring some good videos to the growing community that follows the channel and started to gain a decent amount of subscribers (1050) and views over 211k now which is crazy for me to think.

I meanly do YouTube to have fun and share what I do with people for another part of my PC hubby really.

Also I have just had MSI contact me send me out a Z170a krait gaming motherboard to review on the channel and hopefully more will follow in coming weeks and months.

Here is couple of my favourite videos I enjoyed making.

Any support you could show to the channel would be amazing after all its is a ever growing community.

No way. I have made no money from my channel at all cant even by a game of steam haha.

You really do need 50k views per video and post every day to even make some money.

Really? Have you fully monetized your videos etc?

I'm not uploading videos consistently at all and still pulling a minimum £10/month though I expect that's mostly from my older videos.

You had any trouble with YouTube deleting videos at all? I think they're being overly harsh to me :D

I don't take any comment to heart really I just enjoy what I do and welcome any comments :) phahah

Haha, I was just posting that you hadn't posted on the forums for a while, but at least you've been a member and do have a couple hundred posts, not like the usual 1-posters linking their channel :)

I never monetized my videos intill around 180k views so to this point now I have not made anything really but I do work full time so I don't really need to make any thing from YouTube.

No I can delete them ok, I have just deleted my very old poor videos 2 days ago.

Yeah I haven't posted for while always come on here and read posts though just busy busy :)

Just because you don't need the money because you already work does not mean you shouldn't take the damn money from Youtube!! Dayum you'll never be no entrepreneur. :D

Erm, how do you actually link your youtube channel to the money stream.
I used to have adsense account (well still do) set up linked to Youtube and pulled in a bit but since they stopped that and you have to set it up directly with youtube or possibly Google ads, I can't seem to fathom out how, even after much head scratching.
It seems you are not supposed to talk about it ?????

Not had a look at any videos yet (bit pre-occupied watching England get murdered again!) But the overall look of your channel (art, logo, thumbnails etc) is great and your content looks pretty consistant :)

I am not sure myself because the little amount the channel has earnt I have just lefted in the adsense account for now.

When I enable ads it just said make account and then it linked and google sent me a code in post.

Yeah bloody England!!! Thank you its much appreciated I just try keep them in the channel theme.

:) You could do with getting a gimbal of some sort for your camera as it seems a little shakey!

In terms of if it still makes money compared to twitch no! but getting any money for doing something on the side that you enjoy is a bonus right?

People who set out on youtube just to make money simply fail as they aren't enthusiastic about the topics they pick.

I can see your putting effort into the channel and that's a big thing :) will watch a few more videos when i have time and let you know what i think :)

PS my personal use of youtube is as a " memory storage bank " that me and mates can have a good ole laugh at.

I don't want to sound too harsh either, being a critic is easy!

Just taking your first video linked for example, some basic comments from me:

I don't know what camera you are using, but when you do the panning shots at the start of the video it doesn't seem right to me, like the framerate slows down. It's not smoothly panning basically. If your camera can't do them well, then try to get more still shots, or ones where you zoom in/out instead.

Secondly you can sometimes be hard for me to understand what you are saying (bear in mind I know I can be hard to understand too :D), sometimes it's pronunciation, like for example when you say the word "zee" (American way of saying Z) instead of "zed", and about 1m 15s in it sounds like you say platimums not platinums.

Thirdly, I don't know if you need the music going on all the time. It's not too loud so it drowns you out or anything, but is there a point to it continuing whilst you are speaking?

When I was doing some commentary videos, I would really have to focus on my words to make them audible to other people, really easy to blabber too much and say unintelligible junk! :O

I know it's hard to be confident in front of the camera, but at the start portion of the MSI mobo review you are going nuts with your hands, and it's not a natural look! :)

Lastly, video showing your setup is not that interesting to me. Maybe try to focus on reviews if you get can get people to send you enough stuff to keep them going? Reviews of stuff means that people will find you without knowing who you are when they try to find out more about stuff they are buying.

I echo the above though, your artwork/sound etc is spot on if you ask me.

Yes my next big upgrade is a good canon camera like 700d which will come one day :)

But you are right about the its a bonus for a side hobby :)

I do wont to reach out and do a series called BadRaiden haha

Not too bad, agree with the slight lag in the panning but oh well never the less well presented.

That first Video has me stumped a bit you say you have 2x6970's in SLi surely that should be crossfire?

Yeah the video was slowed down editing in sony vegas and there was so much work in that video didnt have the time to reflim it all.

But we learn to improve everyday and I do welcome all the comments good or bad so you know where to improve :)
