Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection practically confirmed

Played an hour or so myself, first impressions:
- Drake runs like he's either A) **** himself, or B) Is about to fall over
- Game runs great, smooth, looks good
- Don't see a problem with the shooting that some people seem to complain about
- First game seems quite short? 20% through apparently
Enjoying it so far

Have you had the day one patch yet? Heard it fixes several complaints some have about the game.
Er, I don't think so. I don't recall the game downloading a patch anyway, unless it was super small. I wonder if it's available yet, given we're a few days early?
Either way the animations aren't impacting the game, if anything it's quite funny
Have completed about 66% of U1 (seems a lot easier than on the PS3).
Graphically and performance-wise - its great - nice to see a console game at a solid 1080p 60fps. Gameplay-wise its as good as the pS3 version - no real difference.
It does show how generic and unoriginal Tomb Raider has become - bar the odd puzzle room TR is virtually the same game without the decent characters, story and set pieces.

2013 TR was good, but IMO uncharted series just dumps on it from a great height in all aspects, the very first TR game on the PS1 was and is always IMO the better TR games, the reboot just didn't feel the same.
Once I got to the area with the plane hanging from the cliff in TR 2013 - 100% thought - this is trying to be uncharted with Lara, and whilst I enjoyed the game, very much so truth told, the 2nd uncharted was without doubt much better but again its down to opinion.

Not sure how "better" is being measured here when tomb raider has tighter controls than all the uncharted games and is equal graphically to uncharted 3.
Sure, I'll give you story as being better, but last time I checked games are more so about gameplay and graphics.
From what I've seen, this seems like a cheap remaster, and happy to skip until uncharted 4.

Yep it's just because you're playing early. You'll still earn the trophies while you play you just can't sync/view them until the release date (or just before).

Lol, so you play a game purely for story over actual gameplay, Jessica Fletcher?
But it's great for the ones like myself who didn't play it on ps3 due to not having one, three games for £34 bargain if you ask me
Not really what he said though - regardless other than some lame crafting and tedious collectables what does it really offer over a game from 2007? Having played both recently it's clear how stale TR has become. Maybe they will come up with something better in the new one?
Have you played this or the originals on PS3 ?
Should get my copy tomorrow hopefully. Ordered from Simply games after I saw people on here getting it so early. Cant wait to play these. I don't know why I never bothered with them on the PS3 but I suppose playing them on the PS4 will be so much more fun.
