Honestly doubt they will have a 820 version. I also think they should be able to manage things well, the One Plus2 is fine with the 810.

^^ that is rather b e a utiful.
if there are heat issues with the 810, aren't we geeks tech savie enough to install whatever is needed to deal with it??
Probably, but shoving a great big heatsink and fan on the back of a mobile phone is hardly the ideal solution.

Agreed. The 810 is an Ok chip, just not up there with the best.
They might add an official pair of water cooled gloves in the box.
Sorry about the lamo-phone.

So, after seeking confirmation of my purchase last week after not receiving an order confirmation email and getting my account frozen, then reactivating it and being promised a confirmation email within a few hours (see earlier in thread), I've now checked my google wallet page to see this

even though the google store status page shows that my order still says 'pre-ordered'. Does this mean I'm getting a phone for free or is my order never going to come?
Obviously the latter, so I've had to email google again to ask about the status of my order. Such a shambles, I can't really believe it
Still no confirmation e-mail for me, but order shows fine in the store and wallet shows it as 'pending.
When does Google charge the payment card? Anyone that has pre-ordered been charged?
My google confirmation email said:Thank you.
Your order has been placed! As soon as it ships, you'll receive a separate email that includes your tracking number. You will not be charged until your order has shipped.
Despite the email stating you will be charged upon shipping, many folks including myself were charged on the very day we ordered. I had £500 charged about an hour after I ordered. When does Google charge the payment card? Anyone that has pre-ordered been charged?
