What part are we supposed to be looking at? hard to see anything on that picture.

hard to say , could be a bent pin, but the image is out of focus

It looks like a couple of pins are bent. I wouldn't continue until I'd straightened them, or if you don't want to do that, arrange to have it replaced.

In the top left it looks as if a pin is missing. Also in the bottom left it looks like there is a bent pin too.

Do you think getting it replaced could be problematic. Dead hdds you hear on and off all the time.

I've never heard of a damaged mb :s
