Or... As the BBC is spinning it... A Huge Blow for US Data Mining Corporates. ;)

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-34442618

Does anyone else find it amusing that the 'Impartial and Publicly Funded - Non-Commercial' BBC is taking the 'Corporate' viewpoint on the Safe Harbour ruling? :p

The BBC almost falls over itself to promote US Corporates like Facebook and Apple at any given chance, Rory Cellan-Jones is renowned as the UK Apple Advertising Chief who can turn any story about Google, Samsung, Android in to an Apple Love-In instead so it's no surprise the Beeb is all butt-hurt over it's second favourite US Corp. Facebook getting all of a tizz over Privacy issues. :D

In before the 'Nothing to hide' idiots - Yes, I value my Privacy highly. Have NO friends. And a lovely Tin-Foil hat. :D:cool:

Soooo true but it's also the BBC in general.

Go on a programme as a guest and mention a non-Apple brand name and they are quick to interrupt with the clichéd "...we must say other [insert type of product] are available, yet refer to all smartphones as 'iPhones' or an MP3 player as an 'iPod' and they don't say anything.

So does this mean we don't have to worry about the americans spying on us?

Great news, just the chinese, russians, japanese, germans, french, spanish, dutch, scandinavians and our own government to worry about then
