AMD’s Dual ‘Fiji XT’ Flagship Spotted in Shipping Manifest – Launching Soon

Think its obvious they've been holding the chips back for the Nano (and possibly the X2, which we'll find out when it hits), as them buggers are in stock everywhere now.

That reminds me... Why was the Titan Z so expensive?

Never did understand its huge cost.

What was the difference (£600-£800? of difference) between going SLI Titan Blacks and a Titan Z though?

If AMD could magic 8GB HBM modules and get HDMI2.0 you have the best 4K card in existence. Sadly both prospects are basically impossible so we get a card that screams for 4K but can't output natively to most 4K TVs and will choke over vram, and the price will be more than 2 980Tis.....

However, it really shows what will be possible next generation thanks to HBM. Imagine 2x16GB HBM2 and 2 next gen 16nm cores on a board no bigger than a regular 980Ti is now.

CUDA commute, it was basically like buying a 5K Tesla card at 1/3rd price.

If you didn't do HPC GPU compute then it was a stupid buy.

TitanZ was not a good buy even if you do GPU compute as you could get 3 Titan Blacks for the same money.

Which reminds me I have a pile of watercooled Kepler Titans sat on top of my wardrobe computing very little.:(:D

No, but I heard a few have.

NO, you heard that 1 leaked. And it is by no means a rule, just an exception. I have 3 of them none of them leaked.
I had corsair AIO take my GPU out, but I am not going around telling everyone that every corsair AIO is leaky and we should stay away from it.

TBH the Upcoming Dual nvidia will kill this off as the ti did all the overpriced furys.

Well for two generations AMD was faster with the dual gpu cards. I expect this will continue. The Fury X CF were faster than 980Ti SLI in the reviews, and as these will be closer to Nano spec chips, i think they will be at least on par if not lower on power consumption as the NV counterpart.

390x2 was developed in house by whatever company is selling them. AMD did not develop them. Unless you mean 295x2.
Fury x2 should go around 1k after price normalisation

Buy 2 single Fury Xs add waterblocks and single slot brackets. Not only will they take up less space if you place them next to each other but it will probably be a cheaper faster solution than this dual card.
