While I enjoyed my 920 and 930 apps like Twitter and instagram lagged far behind ios ano android. I'm pretty sure instagram is still in beta and still only has photo support and that's it. Think ms need to start throwing money around to get some updates for lagging apps.

I'm happy to see on the website the 950/950XL have 4 Rich Recording mics on board. It's a feature which is barely ever touted, but it makes a huge difference when recording things like live performances or concerts or similar.

Could this surface book actually damage other sales in the high end? I doubt any Mac users will switch. But surely anyone looking for high end portable won't really go anywhere else?

Exactly, oems have done an appealing job for years. They don't deserve to pull MS down with dire hardware. Thanks y keep doing this half toe in rest of foot out and see what the markets reaction is. Which unsurpisingly is poor. They need to up their game and create market. They've havnt even matched the surface yet which is on its 4th gen.
