Star Wars Battlefront Beta GFX benchmarks.

What about Far Cry 4, Witcher 3, Project Cars, Total War - Atilla, GTA V, Dragon Age Inquisition (basically very demanding games).

What about them? Crossfire issues? I can confirm that 3 of those 5 you mentioned work a treat in crossfire. Not played FC4, and haven't touched PCars since I upgraded the rig so I can't comment on those 2 :p

Good to see AMD holding their own in this but I can see a big gap when overclocking is introduced. Good frames all round though and good performance figures.

This is where a benchmark thread would come in handy, but considering it's just a BETA there might not be much point to it.

Yer, not a lot of point and I doubt they will include a bench test either.

What will be really interesting though is how DX12 performance compares between the top two cards. Considering we are well aware of NVidia's async compute issues.

DX12 will hopefully show some nice improvements all round but being fair, performance is none to shabby on DX11 by the looks of things.

What issues, the fact they do not need to enable it in the drivers to beat AMD cards using it?

That aside it is looking good no matter which card you have

edit: in fact the fury non X is looking very good value.

I do hope DICE do good by this game, performance so far seems good all round. As for gameplay, we'll have to see.

It is well known that AMD has better compute performance in GCN compared to Maxwell. Also, drivers can't fix a hardware limitation. Lastly, the Fury X matched the 980Ti in 1440p and beat it at 4K without it too.

Nooooooooooooooo dont start all that again. We'll all be thrown to the almighty Sarlaac if it all kicks off.

Game is looking good for both AMD and Nvidia....All I want is to play a really, really great Star Wars FPS that runs super smooth on my old R2 unit....and it looks like that's what we are all going to get.

And as Darth Vader once said "He's NOT the messiah, he's a very naughty boy"

Opps......wrong film.
:D

I completely agree, I look forward to the full release of this game. :D
