haha, you are still young, I guess. I used to be excited with BC2, BF3, BF4. Not anymore, thanks to Dice games being completely broken in the 1st year of release. Seeing how they are still 'balancing' BF4 weapons makes you wonder what kind of game developing is this when they cannot even get right weapon balancing in their 4th or 5th online game :D And don't get me started on just fixed bugs (like reload bug) which were present from beta 2 years ago :D
 
Field of view 55! Come on! That's so low. And I expect the full game will support MSAA they probs just want the beta to run nice and smooth on people's systems
 
Just posted my thoughts in the PC Games thread so I wont go into gameplay too much but OMFG this game is graphically sublime!
I thought as its a modern game no way would I be able to play full settings on 4k but darn tootin rootin just played for 15 minutes and I am averaging 55fps at 4k on Ultra, yes thats right ULTRA inc full AA. It looks the bees knees.
Canon it aint (Darth Vader running under AT AT walkers battling the rebels/Tie Fighters over head on Hoth) but its the best looking game by far this year. Fun too although not too keen on the Jetpacks. Only Bobba Fett should have a jet pack not Stormtroopers!
 
Was it not the case that AA wasn't included in the betas for bf3/4 and hardline? Iirc the full releases of each ran a bit slower when maxed. Could be wrong though as they're all quite some time ago now.

Dark Troopers have jetpacks but not regular cannon fodder Stormtroopers. :p

I just had a thought....it will be really strange to actually see stormtroopers who can actually hit something that is not the size of a barn door at a distance of 5 feet.

Looking forward to this.....any chance we can get a few games all together?

I am sure we would all like to have a few pot shots at each other ;)

Maybe we could get a game going with Team Red v Team Green and settle this once and for all. LOL :D

Not sure about that but I remember the was no difference between high and ultra for a bit
 
Well , if you in japan , you are able to play the game from 10 AM, less than 4 hours away. EU 4 PM pretty much.
Not gonna stay up " to be in VPNjapan" and try it. You guys may want to.

Thats what I wondered the standard blaster seems a bit too accurate. At long range you can definitely get some kills.
 
I would forget the benchmarks because it plays loverly. If I can get avg 55fps in 4k then think what you can get in lower resolutions.
 
What the hell is Vulcan doing in a Star Wars game, isn't that a race of people in Star Trek?

P.S 114FPS Ultra 1080p 55FOV. Challenge set. I bet I smash that.
