No SD slot = deal breaker. I don't understand why a 'pure android' device is a sealed unit. Shame as I really wanted to like this phone

Because Google has invested heavily in cloud infrastructure and that's what they want people to use, also until Android 6 SD cards were a badly implemented afterthought in the OS although it looks like this is finally changing.

Good video though, even though he states it's a prototype (hence dual sims), they show a lot of the camera UI stuff not seen in "hands on" videos from the announcement, stuff like how to choose the fps in video mode, more settings screens on the camera as well as the cool new animations, especially that sweet as fingerprint animation on the lockscreen.

I tweeted Giffgaff, asking if they knew when pricing will be available, and they just said keep checking the website. I was hoping they would tell me, so I wouldn't have to keep checking.

Do feel rather excited about this phone - first week of November can't come soon enough! Just hope the camera delivers and doesn't turn out to be a turkey.... That first slide from the presentation comparing it to the iPhone 6 still bothers me !

Frost now completely out of stock. Looks like a set number of each were made and must be sitting in a warehouse. Not long left!

Drooling with anticipation over this... Stuck with a 32GB graphite in the end, after flipping between an aluminium 32GB and a 32GB carbon 5X... cheap polycarbonate/gel hybrid case arriving later today, so I'll get a feel for the size of the phone then.

Have to say that using herself's mildly battered Nexus 5 again after another brief iOS holiday has reminded me how much Android's come along over the years!
