The quietest and most powerful 140mm fans you can get?

I was looking at these. Need 2 for my front Evolv ATX case. The stock fans are too noisy.

Acoustical Noise: 31.5 dB(A) is quite loud , But at lower rpms they should be good

Have to say though..I have not used these fans myself

Yeah I wouldn't have them at full speed. I was thinking more 900rpm to 1100rpm. My Evolv atx stocks fan are 1100rpm and they whine a little.

yeah....they should also be good at around 1100-1300 too

These fans are not cheap. Might do a little more reading up before I take the plunge. Cheers

Alpenfohn Winboost 2 PWMs are silent as are my current 140mm Vipers.

Jf you find the stock PH-F140SP is noisy, the A14 will be as well. The sound a little different, but just as loud.

Have you looked at be quiet! Silent Wings 2 or EK Vardar F1-140?

Which Vardar's do I go for?

VARDAR F1-140 140MM is the slowest at 1150rpm 26 dBA. I wonder what's the slowest speed I would get on this fan? I hope it's around 500rpm??

Or should I go for the 1600rpm VARDAR F2-140 140MM???

The Vardar F1-140 is 40-100% PWM meaning 100%@1150rpm is 460rpm@40%. But I have not varied this.

be quiet! Silent Wings 2 idle down to about 135rpm@28% PWM. but are half again as much money. I have experience with be quiet. Very good fans.

I have the F2 1600 spin. Pwm I'm sure it runs as low as 400 rpm. Even at full tilt (1600) I believe it's the quietest 140mm fan I've used in over 25 years. I was using 2 as cpu fans and they were fantastic but I finally got a Noctua DH-15 so the vardar's went as case fans.

So are they good case fans? I just need 2 in my evolv atx.

Work fine as case fans Imho if not a little boring looking. I've replaced all my systems with vardar and noctua fans now.

I have other fans every where else, but the front of the evov is covered so it doesn't matter what they look like. Your not going to see them any ways. Cheers for helping mate

But the stock fans in this case can run at 600rpm at which they are silent imo. Do you need airflow at max for those fans?

Around 1100rpm you will hear every single fan.
