ASUS Maximus VII Hero

My Hero VI has a header for it on the centre bottom edge of the board. It looks like yours has it too. It's marked ROG_EXT. List of supported boards and available function are under the product description here.

***Edit*** Your post threw me off a bit there. The Z170 is the Maximus VIII Hero and isn't on the list as it's not been updated. I just checked some reviews of the Heor VIII and it still has the header in the same place so I presume it still works with the newer boards.

Cheers dude. TBH its a pointless tool really but but it looks cool and that was pretty much my only benefits of jumping from Haswell to Skylake so what the heck :D
