Yep, I'm around 6'5" odd and the world is not a friendly place for my kind... Everyone else needs to evolve ffs.
DVT ahoy!
I live in the same small world. always having my knees pointing in to the aisle etc when there's inches of leg room

you gotta remember though if you want to buy say a new 320 it will be about 5 years before we even start building it![]()
True, but the seats are on rails, it'd be a couple of hours work for a small team to take out some seats and adjust the remainder to redistribute the legroom.
This isn't always true, some airlines will over-allocate places in the expectation of cancellations/no-shows. Usually they do their sums correctly and everything works out but I've been bumped off flights before because I was the 251st person to check-in, for example. Thanks, Lufthansa!
In fact many if not most airlines do it.
My concern is whether they can evacuate everyone in a stacked position quickly and safely in an emergency.

Are you over 6 feet? If not, you don't know the meaning of the word uncomfortable!
I'm 6'3 and it's very uncomfortable. I cannot imagine how taller people manage. I'd also add that I am not overweight (14st 9lb) and I still feel like I am hunched up on my seat.
They definitely don't make seating for normal sized blokes.

I'm 5'11", my inside leg is 37 1/2" and outside leg is 42/43".

Just got back from Los Angeles and the legroom was absolutely fine - there was space between my knees and the seat back. What more do you want for 450 quid return? The reviews for my carrier were universally awful - continual complaints about cramped seats, poor legroom... yet it was absolutely fine. As it is every time..
People love drama and they to love to whinge. They also love cheap fares. A nice mix..
Okay those are some pins for sure. Still, you're in paradise compared to those of us over 6!
Currently have to pay $1200-1400 round trip to see my family. I'm all for making a trip cheaper any which way!
5' 6" - no problems here![]()
