Basically im looking to get into a Hardline tubing setup, and get some PC upgrades while i am at it, could someone explain the easiest way, and i suppose, cheapest way as money is a factor, although pricing it roughly, its gonna be expensive :p Looking for a 2x R9 290 setup and 8320(current)/4690k/4790k and looking to get really nice temps, and for it to be as quiet as possible.
Also if anyone has any nice case ideas, I am truly open, wanting to go as black and green as possible, as im getting the Sniper motherboard if i go Intel which is the plan!
What am i looking at, and how many of each part, link a full setup as i am really unsure as what to buy as its been a while :D
There will be cookies given out to little helpers :)

Also, im currently looking at the 750D, either version, probably airflow im guessing is best, or the Phanteks Primo

Hardline? Black and green you say? Petey's in :)

Take the Primo. More rad space = lower temps and/or noise + you can hide your psu and stuff.

As for the rest of it, pick the kind of 290/x block you like from here (or wherever) and buy two :p They're all roughly as good as each other, so buy the prettiest or cheapest - it doesn't matter.

Fittings: Go here and find the style you like.
Buy two for each component in your loop. (if you use a bridge on the GPU's, then you only need two fittings instead of four).
Buy tubing that matches the size of the fittings you chose (or vice-versa). Ideally, buy the same brand tubing/fittings as there can sometimes be discrepancies when mismatching in my experience.

You will need angled fittings. Work out how many and what kind once you decide on how you want your loop laid out.

In the Primo, I'd recommend a 360+480 rad setup. Plenty of choices.

That's the basics :)

Now go and do a google image search for 'Enthoo Primo watercooled' for some ideas/inspiration for how you want it to look, because I'm not designing it for you :p :)

Go for hardline compression fittings. EKWB YouTube channel has some good videos where they dicuss this. Cheapest option is do all the bends yourself with just a heat gun and inner silicon tube. Unlike soft tubing, you will need more tubes because some bends will not work out and you will have waiste. Look at PTEG tubes, which are meant to be more forgiving when heated. YouTube is your friend on all this. Research Primochil and videos of people doing bends to get tips.

Give me 5-10 and ill reply back with some thoughts :)

Had a look at one of the few tech youtubers i watch, JayzTwoCents, the watercooling guru :p
Looks like this case is the one for me, plus there is a green and black in there also :D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JJDQVonZNMw at about 2 minutes you can see what he has in.
2x 480mm Rads and a 120/140 in the back, but there is a 240 in the side somehow and he said you can get another 140 in the front, so really, id probably just go for 2 thick 480mm.
This is the parts list in my head:

EK Water Blocks EK-Supremacy EVO - Nickel CPU
EK Water Blocks EK-FC R9-290(X) - Nickel Rev.2.0 (x2) GPU
XSPC Photon 270 Tube Reservoir (NO CLUE WHAT RES, IDEAS? What would look good?)
UNSURE ON A PUMP, AGAIN IDEAS? I have heard D5 is the best, but very expensive?
XSPC EX480 120mm Radiator - BLACK (X2)
Mayhems Pastel - Mint Green Coolant 1L (dunno what colour would go with this: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-524-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=2811 ) Also, how much would i need?
What tubing?
And how many fittings, can someone explain what sort of setup it would need to be, for example: Rad Out ---> Compression fitting ---> Angled fitting ---> Tubing to next point.
OR would it be: Rad out ---> Angled fitting ---) Tubing to the next point

Just the little things that i need help with really, and if you could do the maths and figure out exactly how many compression fittings i would need, and also where do i get the angle bending stuff to do the bending from?
If there is anything else i will need, let me know :D

ALSO, for the CPU block, i have seen this absolute BEAUT: Swiftech Apogee XL CPU Water Block, Google it, I have seen it on Scam or AquaSpooning, would much prefer off OCUK, but i would only buy the block, as OCUK dont stock it :'(

I'd go for a D5.
The photon 270 is nice (I had one), and you can obviously buy one that has an integrated D5 too. There's loads of choices with reservoirs tbh. Have a look around :)
One thing to mention with the photon in the Primo is that it's a fatty and you'll likely have to remove the cover on the res mounting plate and then drill your own holes to avoid it clashing with gpu's.

If not an intergated pump/res like that, then you can run a separate pump + pump top with tubing connecting it to a res.

Mint green would go just fine with that mobo. If not, you can always bung a few drops of another type of green dye to get it exactly how you like it.
Personally, I'm a UV green user and love the vibrancy of it, but if you want a solid colour, then mint pastel is sweet.

Amount of compression fittings? I'll refer you to my above post :) Two for every component in your loop. One in, one out.

You'd screw the compression fitting into the angled rotary. Tubing goes into the compression fitting.
As for what tubing, decide on your fittings and ask then :) Size wise, I'm a 16mm outer diameter man, but have a look around and see what you like.
This is also a good time to choose a bending kit if you really think you need one. They're generally made for specific tubing sizes, so again, decide when you've figured out which tubing size you want.

That block is lovely. Go for it if you prefer the looks over other stuff :)

Again, give me a little bit to look around and ill fully reply :) Need to try and see if there is any darker blocks that show the color. :P
So it goes for example: Res ---> Angled rotary ---> Compression?

Yep.
Forgot to answer how much tubing/fluid. As mods1965 said above, buy plenty. At least a couple of metres, if not more. You WILL mess a few up when practicing and you'll be glad to have more to hand :)
I'd grab at least 2-3ltrs of fluid (I grabbed a 5ltr flagon of the stuff for my last build lol). You may or may not put that much in, but it's good to have a bit extra in case of whatever.

Yeah, that'd do just as well as any.
Not the prettiest thing though tbh. If you don't mind the extra £14, this is lot more sleek https://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-886-EK&groupid=962&catid=2133&subcat=1845
You can also upgrade the tube part if you want a bigger one at some point. That goes for both of them.

I do like that one better actually, and if im spending all that money (by god i didnt realise watercooling was so bloody expensive!) its worth adding £14 for something a bit nicer ;)

Wait until you start thinking about the hardware you could've bought instead.

Exactly the thoughts going through my head right now ;) £550 its came too roughly. For that, i could have a 5930k and a motherboard, or a 980ti or with a bit extra a 5960X!!
Lets just take a week to think about this :p
HOWEVER it would look sexy as hell, but its only really once a year i get this kind of money, and it is my 16th soon so im getting a bit extra, with christmas a month and a half after, What to do, what to do....

It's just that while 290's are great cards (and I'm very happy with mine), it may be a little late in their life to go all out on investing in blocks and stuff.

I don't know what you have to spend on all of this, but like you say, instead of buying another 290 and all the rest of it, what if you got yourself a 980TI with a decent aircooler for example?

That is a good idea, plus it means i can gather up maybe £170 for my 290 on shebay that would take a large chunk out of the card.
I will have around £1000 roughly to spend. Was also looking at monitors, currently on a 29 inch ultrawide, love it, but would love something more gaming oriented if you see what i mean?
