Packed like sardines in airbus'

Planes havn't been to bad, or maybe its just the airlines I fy with. Buses and trains however are another story the seats sometimes have 6 inches between the seats, or at least thats what it feels like. I have one leg in the aisle and the other taking up half the other passengers' leg space. Its painful, literally so at times. If I'm lucky I get a seat on a train at one of those tables inbetween facing each other which at least means no seat immediately in front but with my feet invading most of the space of the person opposite with corresponding withering looks. I CAN'T HELP IT i SWEAR!

I get this on buses and trains too. Sat in a window seat pretty much at a 45 degree angle so my knees aren't being ground into powder by the back of the seat in front of me. Person comes to sit next to me and hesitates, waiting for me to move my legs out of the way. I can't, it's a physical impossibility!

I'm the same height as you and I have this issue.

Snap a neck plane.... WTF!?!

The is a reason we sit forward or backward on any transport and that is to reduce neck injury in case of an accident.

Sideways you ****ed, you be licking your elbow in no time. :D

Ryanair can go suck the fat one, way out we had the emergency row seating, that was fine, no worries apart from being woken up to be sold things every 5 minutes.

Way back, regular seating. OMG.

So, hence sitting at 45 degrees, seat doesn't recline, thats fine, i'll just use use myu jacket as a pillow. That worked for 10 mins.

Then the toddler in front decided to see how hard he can jump against the seat, this hits my knees and wakes me up. He thinks this is funny and continues for 30 mins. (neither parent speaks english and I dont speak czech)

Finally he stops. For 5 mins.

Then he decides he wants to close the window blind as hard as possible, mother says she wants it open, rinse and repeat for another 30 mins.

Finally fall asleep again

Woken up 2 mins later as said child realises he can punch my kneecap from the side of his seat without his mother noticing. The rate at which I woke up probably made it clear to him how well that was going to work out.

TL:DR, would take two tier lying down seats any day
