As Title I'm thinking about building a cheap Core I3 6320 system, hell anything will be an upgrade over a Core2 huh? but I don't really want to be buying a new HSF. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could buy a compatible bracket for my Ultra 120?

I'm assuming your Ultra has the 15mm thick base

The Venomous X BTK II bolt-thru mounting kit (has tension screw in middle of crossbar) is compatible with
Ultra120
Ultra120 eXtreme
TRUE Copper
TRUE black
HR-02
Silver Arrow
HR-01
And probably any 15mm thick based Thermalright cooler not listed
The TRUE BTK bolt-thru mounting kit (does not have tension screws)
is compatible with following heatsinks:
1) Archon / Archon Rev.A
2) AXP-140
3) Cogage TRUE Spirit (775/1366)
4) Cogage MST-140
5) Cogage Arrow
6) HR-01 Plus / HR01X / HR01 3U / HR01 4U
7) HR-02
8) HR-22
9) IFX-14 / IFX-14 BP
10) MUX-120 Black / MUX 120
11) SI-128 / SI-128 SE *
12) Silver Arrow
13) TRUE Copper / TRUE Black Rev.A / TRUE Black Rev.C
14) Ultra-90
15) Ultima-90
16) Ultra-120A / Ultra-120 eXtreme / Ultra-120 eXtreme 1366 RT / Ultra-120 eXtreme 1366 RT Rev.C / Ultra-120 eXtreme Rev.A / Ultra-120 eXtreme Rev.C
17) Venomous X / Venomous X Black / Venomous X RT / Venomous X Silent edition
All have 15mm thick bases

Not compatible with following heatsinks:
1) Archon SBE
2) Archon IBE
3) AXP-100
4) AXP-200
5) Macho 90

A blast from the past and one cooler I still use on an old machine. I would love to know how this cooler stacks up to modern day coolers? Anyone have any idea?

In it's size class it is still one of the best. I have both the 4-pipe and 6-pipe models in use, and I have a shelf full of coolers.

maybe try emailing thermalright directly, they normally will give you mounting hardware for free or just the cost of shipping :)
