People use an app to access facebook? never seen a reason to use anything other than the browser on my phone.

It's quicker and easier than the website and better for sharing photos etc.
 
Interesting, i had something similar, recently having need to buy some glasses and went with one store in particular, then later in the evening having adverts for the same store on my Facebook. This store does not have any of my details (apart from telephone number and address)

I assume this will be on Android devices, not Apple where permissions need to be granted? I don't use any of these apps, but my wife does so interested to understand.

Explains why I've been getting so many ads for shovels and acid tho.
 
Anyone running Marshmallow could just deny the permission to use the mic when the notification pops up as opposed to the blanket "accept all permissions" during app install. The cool thing about Android 6 over previous versions (or competitor OSes for that matter) :cool:

tell that to ios potatoes... i don't even have fb, yet the missus insists on showing me EVERYTHING on there. can't escape when wimmins are about :(
