They openly admitted they were going to listen "to your music and movies" last year. Don't like it, don't use it. It's an NSA archive anyway.
Anyone running Marshmallow could just deny the permission to use the mic when the notification pops up as opposed to the blanket "accept all permissions" during app install. The cool thing about Android 6 over previous versions (or competitor OSes for that matter)![]()
Update to Android Marshmallow and natively deny the permissions.
