Long time lurker of the forums and i have decided to take the plunge and build myself a new rig. Will be needing everything except mouse and keyboard as my current one will be given away as a gift to a friend.
Only required part will be a 34" ultrawide monitor
I mainly play games, I am not into FPS so 144Hz etc wasnt important for me, decided on immersion and colours etc so decided on the 34" ultrawide. Will be doing some Excel work and occasional multi tasking.
Most likely will be playing games, browsing internet, watching movies at the same time.
Build will be bought before Xmas so would like your ideas.
£2500 budget to include the monitor, this will be my first full build!
Would like it to look good, so colour themes etc - atm no preference so let me see your ideas!
I know this is discussed hugely on the forums, but in my situation... X99 or skylake ? Let me know why you have decided if you are kind enough to spec me a build.
