hey guys so im preparing to do this exam
to get towards ccna.
i can setup with out issue :
VTP, VLANS, Trunks, Access lists, OSPF, Static Routes, DHCP, MOTD, Banner, Service Password, SSH, telnet, Local Users, Domain names, Host names, Management IP, default Gateways. I also have good knowledge of tcp ip v4 and sub-netting

but
on the online practice stuff i find via google, i get stuck with flow of traffic, Mainly things like what mac is in the header for the source ect. and this seems to be 20 % of the exam, well on the practice ones it is?

how likely am i to pass if i just go for it? do i need to go and revise anything else or any tips on how to get a better understanding on the above?

thanks in advance.

I cant remember if I had much of that in the exam to be honest

Main thing with the exam is, you want to be quick at the questions you can answer fast. Just select and next.

Be prepared for SIM questions, there will be a few sims in there, with 4 embedded questions usually, so you need to tackle these, they usually throw them in around half way through the exam, and 3/4 of the way through. These will catch you out if you are not expecting them

Its good to learn the quickest way to subnet, its also good to know your 4, 8 and 16 times tables, these will help you to quickly work out ranges.

Also another tip, formulate yourself a sort of quick reference on the things that will help, before you start the exam keep moving the mouse on the PC your on and write down on the pad and paper before the exam starts.
