You conclude it will run any game at max settings, based on playing 2 games that are now years old? I'm assuming you mean max settings at 50 FPS.
You're wrong, I'm afraid. At 1080p and max settings there are plenty of games that won't achieve playable framerates on a 7870. I can state that as 100% fact as I have a 280X and I hardly play anything on max settings, due to poor frame rates.
If my 280X can't do it, your 270X can't either. Sorry, buddy.
Cracking value, glad you like the card, one hell of a bargain you got there.
Can I ask though, is the GTX 780 in the first picture an accident?
Try a different PCI-E slot for starter may be?Im having problems getting my R9 270X to run, i dont know whether it is a driver issue or an issue with the card but all i could get was a black screen, everything is plugged in correctly. Help please!?
What PSU are you using? (I pray it is not a cheapo generic one with weak sauce output on the 12v rail).Yeah eveything is plugged in, i got it to load up on to windows then as soon as i start any program the screen goes black and i cant see anything??
That PSU should be fine for a 270x, so may be try a different version graphic driver? Also which Windows version you using?Corsair Builder Series CX 500w Modular '80 Plus Bronze' Power Supply (CP-9020059-UK)
This is the PSU im using, its only 2 years old as well.
Windows 10 has been known to cause some problems for stability graphic cards, for both AMD and Nvidia (Nvidia have a bigger issue from what I've read).Im using windows 10 at the moment, the free version that was downloadable. Think ive got 15.7 for drivers, inthink thats how you say it, which one would you recommend?
