Front & Rear Discs & Pads on MX5. £95 fitted. Fair?

I need new brakes on my 2003 1.8 MX-5 Sport. No idea if it's front, rear, pads, or discs so I thought I'd just replace the whole lot. Had the car a year, done around 10k miles and haven't replaced them yet so worth doing I think.

I've bought the parts (£143 - Just went with Pagid from Eurocarparts as they were in stock in my local branch and a bit cheaper than MX5 parts) and been quoted £95 to fit them. Is this a decent price?

Cant you ask someone to do a homer at your work or do they not do staff rates there?

I've been quoted £297 for all 4 discs and pads for my Mazda 6 - I noticed on the quote it's booked as a 3 hr job, which was £112 + VAT

It's a bit more than I expected, and will be even more if I then ask for the brake fluid to be replaced as well (as some people say on here should be done as well. It's a '56 plate and done 80,000 miles)

I once paid around £150 for new front brake disks on a mk2 Focus ST. I think they forgot to charge me for labour or something :D

Someone who says that changing pads and discs on the front and rear is less than a 2 - 3 hour job hasn't done enough or not a thorough job.

Unless something's stuck, I don't see why it can't take 15 minutes or less per corner to remove a wheel, remove the caliper bolts, wind the piston back, remove the bracket, remove the old pads and disc, wire brush the dirt and crap off the caliper and bracket if need be, make sure the sliders are greased and not dirty, put the discs back, put a bit of grease on the back of the pad, put the caliper back, and put the wheel back.

You want them to rush your brakes? I don't!

About 1hr 45min depending on car, including cleaning surfaces using air tools. Some cars like some polis and golfs the disc comes off with out taking the carriers
