There are Women in Hijabs on our screens all the time and have been for some time, TV presenters, Politicians. No one bats an eye lid, they just blend into the furniture, thats the reality of how Britain is.

Its the way the BBC and Bake Off made a massive politically correct issue of it that has peoples backs up and actually sparked what is a pretty negative multicultural argument. This is the point i'm making.

If they're stupid enough to be that easily manipulated by the media either way, **** em. They're not the type of people I would want to associate with.

If Northern Ireland was still the place for terrorism and killings today they'd have probably had an article in the sports section "Northern Ireland through for first time in 30 years, which, incidently is when the IRA smuggled in a load of arms from Libya and killed dozens of RUC and soldiers which has no ****ing relevance to our article, but we're going to remind you who we want you to hate because you're too ****ing stupid to think for yourself".

Syrian asylum seekers in Greece have refused to be relocated to Luxembourg, pushing the European Union’s scheme for migrant quotas close to collapse.

The Times understands that plans to relocate 30 Syrians from Greece to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, one of Europe’s wealthiest countries, have been shelved because “very many” of them want to go to Germany instead.

Diplomats report that there are also problems rounding up migrants to go to Estonia because Italian and Greek authorities are reluctant to force people to go where they do not want to.

“The quotas are not so people can go asylum shopping,” one EU diplomat said. “If you say you are escaping war, you can’t refuse to go to Luxembourg. It is making a joke out of the whole quota system.”

The EU agreed quotas this month to relocate 160,000 refugees across Europe, overriding protests from east European countries such as Romania which warned that migrants would refuse to be sent to cities such as Bucharest.

Last week the European Commission organised television cameras for a media event when the first group of 19 Eritreans was relocated from Italy to Sweden. Officials have since revealed that the exercise was nearly a disaster.

The original plan was for 33 Eritreans to board an Italian military aircraft to Stockholm last Thursday. However, 14 Eritrean refugees “absconded” the day before and “the remaining people had to be placed under lock and key to stop them disappearing too”, a source said.

So, what's wrong with Luxembourg? Seemed like a nice place when I drove through it, a bit quiet maybe. The only thing I can think of, is that because it is a small country, there wouldn't be many refugees heading there? So none want to go?

As far as I understand it, a successful application of asylum gives a limited leave to remain in the country for 5 years, whereupon the case is reviewed and they can either be sent back or then given an indefinite leave to remain - effectively becoming a citizen.
 
My wife informs me a company she has intimate knowledge of is taking large orders from our government spending, of course, our, the taxpayer's money, to send thousands of blankets to Calais, to keep the migrants we have paid to fence out, warm.

How long before the media has a photo of some dead kid, dragged by its parents greed, from a hot, safe, but economically disadvantaged country, across Europe in winter, lying frozen stiff, and is bleating they will all freeze to death soon, and we must capitulate and let them in?
