So my 7th, Yes you read that right, 7th ROG Swift which has had dead and stuck pixels will soon be going back to OCUK which was bought new only 9 days ago.

I'm unsure if I should just use the option OCUK have in place with the Swift so I get a new Swift direct from OCUK or as I'm within the 2 week window get a refund as it seems from my experience Asus have no quality control with this monitor.

Thoughts and input welcome :)

I would get a refund if i was you as Asus and Acer have been a complete disaster with their gsync monitors.Unless you want to continue the rusian roulette.

The problem is you/we have literally no other options other than Asus or Acer at the moment :( benq need to get there finger out and release a gsync version of there 27" 1440p 144hz freesync monitor, Dell gsync would sell like hot cakes even AOC have 24" models that would be good at 27"

The problem is the panel Asus are using from AU Optronics, Put bluntly it's just poo.

A new updated version of the Swifts panel is inside the BenQ XL2730Z Freesync model and that doesn't suffer the same problems the Swift does.

Never owned a benq monitor but have read good things about them. I'd seriously consider one for my next gaming screen if they get in on the superwide high hz gsync game

Yup, I can't consider Acer due to the awful Customer Service that I've read about on here. I'll be waiting for a nice UW Benq/AOC UW Gsync screen instead

Refund save the money get either UHD 60hz or 1080p 144hz and wait for the next generation of monitors maybe? At least you could get something without all the QC issues that have been so far with 1440p 144hz monitors.

Well once I get the Swift refunded I'm now looking at the Dell P2715Q 4K 60Hz IPS monitor.

I already own 2 Dells and have never had trouble with them but Asus, Wow, Major QC issues, Never again.
