First time posting on these forums, so hi all. :D

As the title says, this is my first liquid cooling product.
I'm excited about installing it but not sure what to do about the fans. Do I keep the stock fans or buy alternative ones? I've read different views so unsure.
If I did purchase alternative fans, would this do the job? Not sure if I'd need some with higher RPM.

Any advice / suggestions appreciated.

They'll be fine performance wise but I found the stock fans on my H105 made a terrible noise. The H1xxi coolers may have better stock fans though.

just installed two of these for two different x99 setups, in quiet mode, and balanced mode they are fine, quite noise when you ramp them up, but should really be needed unless you are cooling something with a very high TDP.

The H100i I had a while ago came with the paste preapplied but it looked like it was put on with a trowel!
I cleaned it all off & used AS5, I ended up with Temps around 60-65c while gaming.

As for fans, I tried the stock ones, SP120 quiet editions & piranha air rippers.
All performed similar, but if I had to choose I'd say the piranhas were the best.

There are a lot of good after market fans out there, but I say you try the stock fans first and see if you like them. In terms of cooling performance, those stock fans are hard to beat. As for noise at higher rpm, you can always tweak them in Corsair link and have them run on a nice curve when you put your system under load.
