Hi Guys,

Just done a scan via Carly and I have the following error codes on my E60 LCI 530D:-

004332 Rail pressure control valve
0041AB Ladedruckfuehler (Boost pressure sensor)
0043E2 Throttle actuator

Any ideas?

Cleared the codes, but they came back straight away after a short run (less than a mile). Car "seems" to run fine, but error codes must mean something bad is/may happen.

Thanks in advance

Paul

INPA generally gives more information about the issues. Carly is good for quick scans but INPA will tell you more about when there has been this error message and why it is occurred.

As an aside, I tried to get INPA a while ago but it seems really hard to make it work and doesn't seem to work on the later versions of windows, Or have I got this all wrong

(I got the hardware off e-bay but never managed to get the software to work, It was only £20 so I am not massively ****ed, but it would be nice to be able to make it work if I can)??

I have....well....had BMTechnics one click install software and their cable. Unfortunately my laptop died yesterday and I cannot reinstall the BMTechnic as it needs online activation which i can't do as they have gone bust!

The next best thing appears to be cable-shack or BCables which both are 1 click installers.

I'm going to buy cableshack software tomorrow so will post up it's any good.

I struggled a bit to get it to work on s windows 7 laptop, though I think it depends on exactly where you get , the version and installation instructions used.

On an XP partition it is dead easy to set up
