Bloody immigrants not respecting the law

Twirlywoos, fighting ISIS with the Like button.

Oh here is another one who uses humour, adds their own spin, diverts from the truth just to deflect their own inability to try and make a change. Stick to forums yeh that will work

You're still doing nothing to try and help a man who you feel is being treated unfairly and doesn't deserve a "barbaric" punishment, but wait a minute he has your internet sympathy vibez, that's alright though. lmao

Says the man who posted on Facebook to save a man from execution. Remind me again how that turned out? I have sympathy for the man and his family but am aware of how little I can do to affect change in a foriegn nation. On the other hand you have no sympathy at all for him and seem to feel beheading is acceptable punishment for some non crimes.

Why is "barbaric" in quotes? Flogging is barbaric.

Honestly, if there was a LIKE button on here I would tick it.

Actually, no I wouldn't because I just remembered what the thread is about.
A bloke who has deserted Britain and lived in a foreign country for 25 years and then breaks their laws but his family want his ex Government to step in.

He knew the rules. Now hes going to learn it the hard way.

Again, no sympathy from me.

Of course not, just look at that non sense in your signature.

Religious police? Hahahah utter joke of a country, if they didnt have money spilling from the ground they would all be starving.

Not very smart are you?

I post something which people like you can see through social media which is what you rely on for news. You don't see what goes on behind the scenes, nor do you see the active effort that was being made not by one person but hundreds of people from a local community who spoke out against the actions of IS on this matter. Regardless of the ****ing outcome I did something against what I saw as injustice and for a local chap who had a heart of gold.

Go back to typing and deflecting because that is all you're good for. Those 4 walls must provide you comfort instead of you giving a toss and going and doing something about what you perceive as injustice against Karl Andree.

Your sympathetic internet vibez will never amount to anything. You're a weak individual tbh. Do you always try to aim for the stars instead of reaching the moon? Your defeatist attitude shows you're the type of person who talks to talk but doesn't walk the walk. Why are you trying to change a nation? Why don't you just do something else to show your hatred against treatment of Karl by contacting the local MP in Karl's hometown. Even if that amounts to nothing atleast I can give you a pat on the back and say he tried and never gave up.

However, I can't do that can I?

Clear law, he disobeyed law, face punishment. Pretty simple.

I haven't read the thread but I would like to think considering the frothing insanity of most GD posters on those "damn immigrants" not obeying our culture you should all be lining up to praise this decision.

So what exactly did you do? A strongly worded letter to the Times? All you have linked to is a pointless Facebook post and not a lot else.

It is also laughable that you talk about deflection when that is exactly what you are doing. Probably because you can't actually defend against the fairly repulsive views you have expressed in this thread, i.e You have no sympathy for an old man that could be flogged and that beheading is the right punishment for such crimes as leaving Islam, adultry, homosexuality, witchcraft and sorcery.

You are also making up my position, when did I ever say I was passionate about this case? I was more surprised and disgusted at the views you are airing as they are coming from someone living in the UK than I am at the actions of the barbaric Saudi justice system you seem to admire.

Really?

IMO, Prison is far more barbaric than flogging!

One inflicts some (possibly considerable) pain which then is over!

The other destroys your life, one minute at a time, possibly for many years!

Given the choice, should I ever fall foul of the legal system, I know what I would choose!

When I was at school I always chose being hit over detention and I always chose to be hit by my Mum than be grounded.
Locking somebody away is awful.

Deflection again, shows your lack of compassion and desensitized approach doesn't it when you aren't willing to take proactive steps for something you feel strongly about.

Whether I link a "pointless facebook post" or tell you to go and visit leading figure heads (Imams) who made a statement on behalf of our community to IS pleading for his release atleast we did something.

What do you think we have the addresses for IS rebels and hand delivered a letter or got on Skype and had a chat with his captures? lol

I'm done with this thread, keep up your valiant efforts, I'm sure you will reach your objective sooner than later and change Shariah in all Muslim countries.

Alchohol might not be big over there but there is a market for heroin and cannabis - infact the in thing thats been around for decades is herion pressed with cannabis resin mix. Religeon is big - they have religous police, seriously you can be nicked for not being at friday prayers, they like to have hangings right after the prayers on a friday and a lot of poeple don't know that they have a very generous benefits system - its also one of the most desirable places to live in the islamic world - it also freaking hot as ****.

:

err you realise that this kind of flogging will potentially lead to disablement, death, WILL cause horrific scaring and long term pain and restricted movement, and lots of muscle damage.

prison you do your time then its over, flogging you do your whips then suffer till you die.

I was of course referring to flogging in general, not being flogged to death.

But I am sure you knew that!

Given the choice of 18 months or 18 scratches of the Cat, which would you chose?

18 lashes would be painful and give you scars to remember but you would (Unless very unlucky) be back with your family the following day and back to work in a week!

(Sailors in Nelsons day received far more severe punishments and were expected to pretty much go straight back to work afterwards)

18 months inside would likely compromise your life for ever, both socially and economically!

My lack of compassion? Says the man who has no sympathy for an old man that could get flogged and thinks beheading is suitable punishment for being gay...

The sentence was a year in prison and over 300 lashes. So yes, it is more barbaric than just prison.

All crime is an imagined and fabricated human social construct, the disparity of law between different nations and states illustrates this clearly. It's truly fascinating to see different beliefs/cultures giving rise to different systems, and remarkable how they are legitimized by the state to a portion of the public.

Wow, did he really say that?

It makes me wonder how many other Muslims in the UK think like this, and what they might start lobbying for if they gain any influence.
