Just let Israel be and start building the country back up, Hamas needs to be burned out of that region, once that happens I can pretty much guarantee that Israel wouldn't be the instigator of any further trouble.
It's land that can belong to anyone and all. Unfortunately neither wants the other in it and the Israeli's constantly want more to call Israel.

For **** sake even Nelson McCauseland (and many others) believe the Protestant people of Ulster are one of the lost tribes of Israel and not just a bunch of Scottish settlers.

Some people say "Israel stop doing what you do" some say "Palestinians stop doing what you do". It takes both sides to stop at the same point otherwise there will always be retaliatory attacks, against either side.
I agree with both the right of Israel and Palestine to exist, there are excesses on either side. It is hard to get reasonable agreement on reasonable terms with a population that believes they had their country stolen from them and they have a historic right to that country/land. Both sides have that very issue in one form or another. Both sides also have victim complex firmly entrenched in their political ideology, for very good reasons.
One side was destined to be wiped from the earth by the holocaust and the other was pushed from their lands and forced into situations where they very well may have been lost as a displaced and destitute population.
There are many rights and many wrongs on either side, religious extremists on both sides need to be reigned in and stopped in their tracks. Be they land grabbing idiot settlers or knife wielding/bomb planting idiot terrorists.
There is no common sense in the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian people, only when common sense can be applied can common ground be found and peace be made.

Absolutely 100% agree with this. Accept Israel will exist and start building towards a future, continue and this war will never stop and the hate will continue to breed.
Those of you that think Israel should stop existing and the Palestinians should get all the land, well where does it stop? Before them was the area not populated by a Jewish population that was displaced by invaders and before them was it not someone else?
Should America then cease to exist and all the land given back to the Native Americans? Should the Turks hand back all of Turkey to whoever they conquered it from?
I've not explained the above well but you know what I'm getting at.
