Hi all,

I'm having a probably with my neighbour as he has a tree next to my car and has recently put up a bird feeder on the tree.

I've noticed that there's been bird poo on my car recently and have to clean it off before it leaves marks in the paint.

I asked him nicely but he didn't believe me that it damages the paint.

Tbh I think he's doing it on purpose, he said he put it up to see birds out of his window but has his blinds closed?

Is there anything I can do?

Remove all the branches from the tree that overhang your land. Deposit them on his land.

You are perfectly entitled to remove overhanging branches but you must give (or at least offer) them back to the person who owns the tree.

My cat is too lazy to go after birds. I would love to cut down the tree but I have no right to. He parks his car in the garage.

I'm thinking mounting a bird ultrasonic repeller but don't know if these things actually work. That way no birds will come.

To be honest the bird feeder probably doesn't have much to do with it. We get a lot of birds on the roof of our house and my poor old Mazda is in the flight path. It gets a regular splattering and I don't know of anyone that feeds the birds round here.

Get a drone:
