Acer Predator XB240HA or AOC G2460PG?

I've been eyeing up a Gsync monitor for a little while now for my recent build and I noticed the XB240HA is down in price to £269.99.

Any recommendations between the two monitors in question? Anyone have the Acer for example and any feedback on it?

AOC everytime. Acer customer support, Quality and warranty is shocking.

+1000, AOC are supposed to have great support. Seems like Acer skimp on a major area

Yes lets just say if I had bought aoc last year instead of Acer then I wouldn't have had 3 months of Acer hell.

I kept in touch with a guy from the company who deals with their non-repairable units and they say that they get twice as many dead/faulty Acer units as the nearest manufacturer which is pretty bad.

I keep coming close to buying Acer but then I remember your posts lol I'm so peed off I need a monitor to complete my build but there's not much to choose from at moment if your looking for gsync, it's a complete panel lottery I'm sure it never used to be this bad, I'm not gonna drop between £500-£1k on shoddy products. I'm looking at the 24"AOC myself as a stop gap for 6 months or so

Got my G2460PG two weeks ago and can't be happier with it. A brilliant monitor, definitely will serve me up until the point when mainstream cards will easily handle high fps at 1440p/4k and better-quality monitors arrive to the market.

To be honest you are better saving your money up for next year. In 6-8 months time you should be able to choose the good ones and forget the duds.
