Morons letting off fireworks

Overreaction much? And I bet you wouldn't really run over a child........or would you?!

IF they shot a firework at a car with me and lets say another child in it, yes i would.

EDIT : I should really explain why this annoys me so much. My uncle crashed into a lamppost at dual carriage way speeds when some yobs thought it would be a fun idea to throw snow balls at his car window. He was lucky to escape with his life and in fact ended up in a induced coma because of how bad the crash was.

Snowballs are soft and fluffy. Fireworks are loud explosive and harmful. Not only can one penetrate a glass object with ease making it's way into a car and exploding causing burns to everyone inside. But the added sheer shock of the explosion right beside you IS terrifying ive had young kids shoot fireworks at me whilst riding a BMX in the past when i was young ( 15 ish ) so i can vouch for the shock of it. And thus anyone stupid enough to be shooting fireworks at people deserve to have there hands blown off and anyone throwing stuff at cars deserves the car to accidentaly veer into there face.

Go to Berlin on New Years or any big city in Germany and then you will see what fireworks are about.

Outside of my house last year there was a FIREWORK WAR! Let alone just 'letting off some fireworks....boohooo, oh no...im scared cricket boy'.

Hundreds of people firing fireworks across the big square AT each other. Firework bombs being dropped out of windows onto people. (This happens a lot anyway)

The people in the UK are so pffttt with everything normal in other parts of the world.

Just to be clear here no firework is ever going to get through the glass in your car let alone "with ease" the things weigh nothing and are made of card/light plastic they just bounce off or crush.

Your car window's especially the windscreen are designed to take way more force than that

Not around here no but I've known it in the past. C'mon its hardly new kids have been doing this since the dawn of time. Certainly happened when I was a nipper and that was a very long time ago. Not that I'm condoning it mind. Its that time of year.

no it wouldnt they are made of paper and card or at best light plastic, they arent going to damage the very strong glass in your car.

you can punch with more force than a firework has when flying.

glass in your car isnt the old glass that used to be in cheap single pain windows

Used to get this too on Bastille Day in France. I think part of the complaint was that this is occurring on non-festival days. I imagine that people don't drop boxes of fireworks on your head on a Monday evening in October

It's really not something to worry about, they'll bounce off, not smash through and engulf the interior of your car in a colourful crackling inferno, the likes of which is worthy of murdering a child to defend against.

Though I may scoff at their puny fireworks the scroates around me can be annoying and distressful for pets etc.

If I still had my license and insurance I could show them a thing or too about fireworks Nothing like manually firing 12" or 16" shells from a 5 foot tube you had to half bury in the ground for safety!

Thankfully proper display fireworks don't often get loose in amongst the general public. You'd know if they had them as your windows would be blowing in and you'd have that distinctive ringing in you're ears!

Sorry but money has no impact here because lets face it chavs are not buying there fireworks they are robbing them. so what is stopping them from "acquiring" a mortar.
