I didn't think anyone was doubting whether it could be done, It's about how long it's taking to get it on the market.

Will be interesting to see how long it takes now for a Lead/Dongle to become available to buy and if manufacturers will start including them with retail cards, now we've seen one in the wild.

Haven't they been seen knocking about in one form or another since about January time. I know this is the first video that I have seen of one actually working, so they must be getting closer, maybe by Christmas, who knows.

The price will be another completely separate issue. unfortunately whatever the cost it will be too expensive for some.

Well the current Startech DP1.2 to HDMI 2.0 4k30Hz active adapter is £37.50 form there own site, now obviously the 4k60Hz adapter will be dearer, it is just a case of how much.

I would love for anyone with a fury, fury x or nano card to try and connect to a 4k monitor with an HDMI 2.0 port, then OC the panel to 60hz using CRU. Anyone fresh? I would not be surprised if it actually worked. No adaptors just pure HDMI cable all the way.

To be honest both sides are as bad as each other but AMD seem to continually mislead, I purchased a R295X2 unaware at the time of no HDMI 2 suuport, I was told at the time hey dont worry an adaptor will be available soon to fix that, AMDMatt posted again today claiming the same, its comical unless you happen to have spent your hard earned cash on a AMD card.

Overclockers dream ring a bell? months after launch and still nothing, another gem was that only a small portion of Fury X press review samples had noisy pumps, retail versions did not suffer from this.

Don't even get me started on the crossfire driver support issues I had with the R295X2 or should I say complete lack of it!!
