Sup guys,

I'm trying to budget up a holiday from mid Jan to the end of Jan next year. Initially India was the idea, but even that might be a push. £460 for flight plus £400 for spending.

I'm wanting something EVEN CHEAPER!

I know, I know, it's not possible...

But, any thoughts?

Could live like a king in Rhyl for that!

*Shudder*.

Outside the UK if possible. OR, camping might also be an option. Glamping even if in the UK/EU as we have a 4m bell tent and could take a stove so winter camping isn't an issue.

Canary Islands?

Admittedly it was ~10 years ago, we spent less than £350 each for flights and all inclusive hotel, going in January.

Definitely possible.

Morocco would be a candidate if you are happy staying in hostels, or alternatively many hotels will rent camping space on their roof for cheap.

Ethiopia would be a great one too. I went there in Feb the other year. £450 for return flights with Lufthansa and spent about £400 in 11 days but that includes a side trip into Somaliland and having to hire security and a private driver. You could certainly stay within Ethiopia for 2 weeks for £400.

What kind of holiday? You can fly loads of places for pretty cheap.

Have you been onto Skyscanner?

Somewhere cheap as chips to live for 2-3 weeks. We don't mind sharing but ideally, would like our own place/room.

I've just discovered the Indian holiday 6 month visa is now just shy of £100!!!!! That's an insane price jump. Used to be much cheaper.
