Survival on an island with a Harley Davidson

Did the shipping crate have any polystyrene in it? If so, mix with fuel to form sticky nastiness to use as a waterproofing sealant.

Would make life in a shelter more bearable. Oh with the side effect of being nice and flammable too.

I'd prefer if it was full of bubble wrap, that should kill a few months :D

Stuck on an island with only Leisure Suit Larry 2 to play? Could be worse I guess.

I think I'd kill myself in frustration trying to access the game, failing at all the "age verification" questions at the beginning!:(

"Who won the 1984 World Series?"

"What team did John Aehl play for in 1959?"

Who the **** knows?!

Good news as a ship has dropped anchor a mile off shore but bad news is that this torrential rain is set to continue for days...

not really theres arguably no less metal, its just its steel rather than aluminium, and you loose all that incredibly useful plastic that could be easily made into things :p

aluminium is easily melted and forged. steel you would be hard pressed to achieve melting temp. although some sheet steel to make knifes from would be useful and wouldn't need to melt it.
Mirrors can be used for signal mirror.
Battery to short to light fire, but you'll quickly want to learn how to make fire yourself.
Light bulbs, battery and alternator could be fashioned easily into a wind turbine for a light at night.

But tbh on such a pleasant island with abundant food and fresh water, you wouldn't really need much of it.
