I think it's unfair to say its a Mondeo - it isn't at all and the XE is actually a very good car that holds its own in the class.

the xe looks great. not the greatest engine choice, but at least your making the roads looks nicer than 320d owners.

Lol @ the Mondeo comments so should I got one of them and I would have had the same driving experience as the jag?

I am asking if people have one and what they think of it I have drove all models and think it'd a superb car that's why I'm buying one.

Not anymore jag have their own engine plant now making the new diesel engines. The petrol are ford but jag will be making the petrol engines aswell early next year.

I actually run/maintain the cnc machines which make these engines. I have drove a disco sport with this engine and it more than copes with that so in the XE it will be plentiful.

This is the new Ingenium engine, designed in house by JLR. However I believe all the previous generations of engines where from ford.

The petrol Ingenium is not available just yet, so the current 2.0 petrol is the old one.

My Brother in Law takes delivery of an XE Portfolio with £7,000 worth of extras tomorrow that he's had on order for 3 months.
Perhaps it's the extras that take the time?

I doubt Jag have much in the way of stocks of new ones of these at this time, but anything is possible I guess.
