Origin added DX12 support for overlays in the latest update, Battlefront DX12 support maybe considering that's the only real major title coming out soon on Origin ?

Whether it actually utilises DX12 features is another matter. I suspect it will be pretty much the same as the DX11 renderer with maybe some tiny performance optimisations and maybe 1-2 token features.

Token features, being a dice game theres more chance of those being broken features.:D

Along with ropey DX12 on off mgpu support, let battle commence.

Really looking forward to it though, hoping it's my game of the year, just hoping it works some of the time.:D

Well graphically it's already one of the most stunning games I have ever seen going by the beta so more eye candy isn't at the top of my wish list but performance optimisations through DX12 would be interesting :)

Yeah and in the BF thread in PC Games people were posting categorically and adamantly positively no DX12 support for it as Battlefield 5 will be the first to support DX12.

If they can sneak the DX12 angle in somewhere they will. It already started with the beta console commands showing DX12 renderer option
