You'll hate my new car :)

When I'm an old man, my body broken and worn from a life of toil, my wife and children a distant memory after they left me due to my alcoholism and violent outbursts. Sitting in a council provided bedsit surrounded by cigarette butts, used needles and a stained mattress - I'll take some tiny solace in the fact I never bought this hateful piece of hooker effluent.

I don't know what's the big deal? It's only a car.

Having owned previous two Fords (Fiesta Zetec and then Mondeo Diesel MK 3) and having looked at interior of new Fiesta, it was more of the 'same' Ford to me.

In the end, I wanted something different and bought Fiat Panda 1.2...it actually turned out to be a great fun to drive through small twisty rural lanes and a mix of A & B roads.

While Mondeo was a good driver's car but overall for every day use, it just wasn't a great car to own.

From now on, I read some car reviews with grain of salt.

I've got a 1.0 Eco boost fiesta on hire from work, it sounds great, goes well for it is too.

In fact, it's hilarious around town as it has a surprising amount of go.

People can take the **** all they want*. You've chosen what you've wanted and you like it. It's a happy little car (bright orange rather than free white/black TDi sports s line plus+ s M), not my choice but its not my money or me using it. :)

*majority of whom probably have a car that doesn't really fit their needs as well as something else does (or at all), but won't be told.

Now anyway, keep in the left lane. :D

The Twinair with the raised suspension is great on twisty lanes, you can make more progress without worrying about clearance or pot holes as much.

Also parking in small gaps is great.

cheers op - I thought my life was over when I got a volvo estate, you've cheered me up no end

Glad to be of service. :D I've enjoyed the creative writing of people violently expressing their opinions.

:p Phone was mounted at a bad angle, always in the left lane.

Wow. That's a fairly well structured rant considering how drunk I was last night.

Sorry mate, car isn't that bad at all.
