Please cast an eye over my build any expert advice appreciated.


Is this ok or are there better alternatives available?

The system will be used for high resolution Photoshop work and needs to cope with several programmes open at one time such as Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Serif Web and so on. This isn’t for gaming.

Can you recommend:
A decent CPU Cooler (£30-£70)?
A suitable case which will take 2 x DVD/RW and 1 x USB 3.0 3.5” Memory card reader (£30-£70)?

That looks ok.

Consider using low profile RAM such as Corsair LPX or Kingston Fury as then you can fit an air cooler easier.

Free cooler with this case, as long as your fan controller doesnt stick out as this case has a door.

Excellent RAM that Fury stuff, do you need 32GB? that is the question, also certain Window versions have memory limits.

I dont rate that cooler and you would find a £30-40 air cooler quieter and performing better at a lower noise DB.

If you want an AIO at least go for a 240mm/280mm (if the case supports it) radiator type.

I have finalised my spec now and hopefully it will all be compatible and the PSU powerful enough. Is this all ok or should I make any adjustments? Thanks.
